VET Workforce Development – Industry/enterprise and RTO partnerships

Client

TVET Australia

Description

Precision Consultancy has been contracted by TVET Australia to conduct a project to assist with the improvement of the responsiveness of RTOs to industry/enterprise needs. This is in response to the identification by the National Quality Council of a need to improve the responsiveness of RTOs to industry requirements for a closer client focused approach in the design, delivery and assessment of training programs.

This project aims to identify, document and disseminate good practice examples of industry/enterprise partnerships and new ways of working between RTOs and industry/enterprises to adopt more innovative, flexible approaches to training and skills development. The NQC expects the project to enhance current work undertaken by ISCs and others in supporting effective enterprise/RTO partnerships.

The project will run until the end April 2009.
