Description
This User Guide supports the RII09 Resources and Infrastructure Training Package. It includes detailed guidance for for industry, for RTOs and for trainers and assessors, including the following.
Details about how this new training package is different to previous versions, including why and how previous training packages were rationalised.
Guidance for industry about how enterprises can use the training package to meet their needs, including:
- how to identify RTOs to suit their training needs
- how to customise and contextualise training to meet specific enterprise needs
- recommendations for how to deal with high risk work units
- sector specific information including details about the changes to qualifications in each sector, a comparison of the packaging rules between old and new qualifications.
Guidance for RTOs about:
- transition arrangements and dating scope of registration details
- various delivery approached
- delivery requirements of particular qualifications
- sample training programs
- various approaches to assessment.
