Mitch Cleary Company Director
After an education career in teaching and management both in the UK and Australia, Mitch founded Precision Consultancy in 1992, with a focus on competency development, working with the national Vocational Education and Training System in Australia. Mitch has extensive experience in working with government agencies as well as other clients both in Australia and overseas to develop flexible training approaches which link the development of knowledge and skill to the application of that skill in the workplace. She has exceptional project management skills, is outcome focused and her projects always work to agreed timelines and budgets. Mitch has undergraduate qualifications in the Biological Sciences, a Graduate Diploma and Bachelor of Education, a Masters in Business in Leadership and Organisational Dynamics and the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Rosalie Flynn Company Director
Rosalie commenced working as a consultant with Precision Consultancy in 1995, and became a Director in 1998. Since joining Precision, Rosalie has worked as a project manager, consultant, researcher, and facilitator. She has worked on many competency development projects with Precision and has developed nationally recognised units of competency in a wide range of areas including: management and leadership, human resource management, employment services, franchising, project management, trade unions, administration and ancillary health workers. Rosalie brings highly developed analytical skills to her work in order to carry out detailed task analysis, and in-depth consultation with workforces about the skills and behaviours required to competently perform in their work roles. Rosalie is an experienced facilitator, trainer and assessor. She lectured on Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour and Diversity in Swinburne University's School of Business. Her areas of particular interest are change and leadership, including followership. She has also trained staff in government including training in procurement, contracting and ethics. Rosalie has a Bachelor of Arts; a Graduate Diploma in Information Science; a Graduate Diploma in Organisation Behaviour, a Master of Business (Leadership and Change) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Elizabeth McAleese Senior Consultant
Elizabeth joined Precision Consultancy in 2008 with over 20 years of experience of working in the VET sector, both in Australia and in several overseas countries. Her experience includes project management, facilitation, training and assessment, instructional design, consultancy, research and writing. As an instructional designer, Elizabeth has managed many national projects for materials development, and she also has experience in the development of Training Packages. Elizabeth has excellent facilitation skills and runs interactive and interesting workshops in a range of areas. Elizabeth has a Master of Education, Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma Adult and Workplace Education, Graduate Certificate in TESOL, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Business. Her particular training expertise is in Teacher Education including training and assessment; English as a Second Language; and Business Management.
Jenni Oldfield Senior Consultant
Jenni joined Precision Consultancy in 2008 and has a worked in the VET sector in Australia and overseas for 15 years both training and developing resources for training. She has is an experienced project manager, having managed the development of many state and Commonwealth government training and assessment resources. Jenni has developed a broad range of resources, both paper-based and online, including Toolboxes and learning objects. She has also worked as a researcher and has experience in the development of units of competency and qualifications for Training Packages. Jenni has a Master of Education, two Bachelor of Arts degrees, a Graduate Certificate of Education (TESOL), a Graduate Diploma of Education (Education & Training of Adults), and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Jenni has particular experience in the areas of language, literacy and numeracy, and in the development of materials for Indigenous learners.
Chris Harrigan Research Consultant
Chris joined Precision Consultancy in 2007 as a Research Consultant. He brings to Precision a wide range of skills gained during his previous experience as a market researcher, magazine editor, and administration officer dealing with finance, scheduling and customer service. Since joining Precision, Chris has used his research, writing and organising skills on a number of projects in the VET system, including HR and Leadership and People Management competencies for the Singapore Workforce Development Agency; research into industry expectations of VET assessment; rationalization and consolidation of Skills DMC Training Packages; and identification of skills sets for the automotive industry. Chris has a Bachelor of Arts specialising in History and English, including editing and publishing, and is working towards his Master in International Studies. He is interested in furthering his experience in workforce development and human resource practices with a particular interest in international systems.
Michelle Wong Research Consultant
Michelle joined Precision Consultancy in 2008 as a Research Consultant. Previously Michelle was working in a graduate position with the Australian Government, where she gained a wide range of skills including policy research, interviewing, writing reports and articles, maintaining data bases and recordkeeping. In previous positions Michelle gained high level computer, customer service and public relations skills.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Chinese language and History, and spent a semester studying Mandarin in Beijing in 2007. She is interested in gaining further experience in the education sector both in Australia and internationally, where she can use her research and language skills.
Kathryn McIntosh Personal Assistant/Administrative Systems Officer
Kathryn joined Precision Consultancy in 2007 as a Business Administration Trainee, and successfully completed her Traineeship in 2008. During her Traineeship, Kathryn developed a wide range of administrative and organisational skills including customer service and financial skills, and has become an expert in a range of Microsoft information technology packages with well developed layout skills. She is the office expert on Survey Monkey which is used extensively for Precision's research, and is able to produce analytical tables from the survey information. Since joining Precision, Kathryn has used her organisational skills to support the team conduct their projects effectively, and is often called on to extend her skills to project work.
